NBSC FACULTY-RESEARCHER AWARDED PRESTIGIOUS NAVEEN JINDAL YOUNG GLOBAL RESEARCH FELLOWSHIP (2026–2027)
Northern Bukidnon State College (NBSC) proudly celebrates the selection of one of its faculty-researchers, Mr. Melven I. Valmoria, MSc., as a recipient of the Naveen Jindal Young Global Research Fellowship (2026–2027). This prestigious international award is conferred by O.P. Jindal Global University (JGU) in Haryana, India, recognized as an “Institution of Eminence” and ranked as India’s top private university.
The fellowship is a competitive honor recognizing outstanding early-career researchers worldwide for their academic leadership and potential to influence global scholarly discourse. As part of this internationally selected cohort, Mr. Valmoria is invited to collaborate within JGU’s multidisciplinary research environment, which spans twelve specialized schools.
The fellowship residency will take place at the JGU campus from June 8 to July 10, 2026. During this period, Mr. Valmoria will engage in advanced research development, participate in international conferences, and foster academic networking. A core requirement of the fellowship is the publication of at least one research paper in a Scopus-indexed journal, a mandate designed to strengthen international research visibility and scholarly impact.
This achievement underscores Mr. Valmoria’s significant contributions to the field and highlights the growing global presence of Filipino scholars in interdisciplinary research.
